Me, Ben and some of Ben's family have decided to do our own version of "The Biggest Loser". We started yesterday but it was my sister's birthday and me and Ben totally blew it, so we are making up for lost time today. So to those of you participating....it is on (like Donkey Kong as one particular person would say :0) )!!! I just got done exercing and I am getting ready for lunch....hmmmmm choices, choices! If anyone has any dieting tips I would love to hear them, I need them! And to those of you who would try and tell me to eat ice cream and even volunteer to bring me ice cream, I am great at revenge!!!

Jessica, Jessica, Jessica!!!! I would NEVER tell you to eat ice cream. You need a double cheese burger. I heard Rupe's is having a sale!
Alright, my biggest tip takes some time, but really is an eye opener. For a couple of months my sister and I counted all the calories we ate every day. We had 500 less then our 'normal' amount should be. We both definitely lost. The whole time I was just amazed at what 1 serving really is, and how we eat more than we think we are. Calorieking.com is a good source, and I bought a food scale from Bed Bath and Beyond to help.
Also, you could try to drink a 1/2 oz. of water for every pound you weigh each day. So many people eat but they're really thirsty, not hungry.
Let's see, I bought a polar heart rate monitor so I could tell how many calories I was burning when I run. I try to burn 450 calories 4 days a week. With the 500 calories less a day, and the weekly workouts that equals around 6 pounds loss a month. It's not super quick, but it's a good steady amount that's doable for a lifestyle goal.
Sorry I can ramble on forever, but those are the things that helped me most :) Best wishes - it's nice to have each other's support so you're not alone in your goal!
How fun! Best of luck...I hope you 2 win! :)
