Just another Manic Monday!!!

Mondays are SO crazy around my house!! I never really have anything to do specifically but the cleaning I have to catch up on is usually overwhelming and my patience runs short.
Today I wanted to report how my week went last week: (If you didn't see my post from last week here it is.)

#1 Goal being more frugal: I feel like I did really well, some of the things I did are:
  • Went to Costco and Walmart to buy all of my groceries for the month. I would have gone to Winco but I had to buy some stuff for camping that they don't carry at Winco. I spent a total of $370.00 and it included a new cooler, tarp, make-up and school supplies. I was happy with that.
  • Secondly instead of impulse buying a new air mattress I shopped around and got one for $55.97 shipped, rather than $82.00 (which I had given to the cashier to scan and put it in my cart and then changed my mind on the matter. It would have been easier just to buy it but I am glad I didn't) 

  • I also saw a ton of clearance toys at Walmart that I thought my kids would like and passed on those too. I want to get them thought through gifts for Christmas rather than toys they will play with for an hour and toss.... 
  • One last thing that happened was I went to buy a flat of raspberries from a local farmer. She sold them last year for $21.00, but this year they were $30.00 I was disappointed and turned them down. She then told me she had about a gallon of them she wasn't going to use and gave them to me. I thought it was SO nice. I will return there in the fall and buy some gourds from her.
#2 Goal- Eat more healthy...I wish I could just skip over this one because I really didn't do that great. I wish I would have done better BUT regardless I tried and here are some of the things I DID do....
  • I exercised 3 times last week I do a workout right before bed called 21-15-9 and it is push-ups, squats and sit-ups. It was good. I also enjoys doing sprints out in the soccer field behind my house, I did that 2 times last week.
  • I didn't eat as well as I should all I can do is try again this week (that dang Arctic Circle....they have the best shakes) 
#3 DIY Cleaners:
 I made my own Clorox wipes and kitchen counter top spray.....yahoo!

Thats all for now folks....I have to get back to my cleaning.
